MICRO Think Tank: November 14, 2014

The MICRO Think Tank is Strattonville's venue for venture reflections every Friday. Students and Facilitators may choose to write reflections in Micro Journals or in the comments that follow the post.

Please write in complete sentences.

This week's "Think Tank" thought prompts are:

1. What is a profit?

2. How does your venture plan to make a profit?

3. Why is important for a venture to make a profit instead of a loss?

Media Literacy Teachin' and Learnin'

Hi there, I'm Sasha, the educational outreach assistant at WILL. I was fortunate to work with the Stratton Media Venture students on media literacy last semester. I found that students are very much aware of and enaged in media in their community, at home and at school. I was impressed with students' PhotoVoice final projects, which hopefully you'll get to see around the school or online soon.

Though I don't get to spend a lot of time with Media Venture students this semester, I think I'll be helping out here and there (and working in other classrooms!) so I'll get to see everyone around, yay!
